Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the HR Manager, Student Affairs Shared Service Unit, this position provides dedicated administrative support to Student Affairs divisions during the transition to the University’s UKG time and scheduling system, with a primary focus on supporting Athletics’ high-volume part-time employee payroll-entry needs. Athletics employs approximately 650 part-time employees and will continue to use iWork or other 3rd party scheduling software for supervisor-created schedules and staff availability. This work is time-sensitive and must be completed accurately in accordance with established payroll timelines, departmental processes, and University requirements.
During this transition period, the role will assist in entering employee hours into UKG based on reports generated from iWork or other 3rd party scheduling software, helping ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for each pay period.
The role will also provide general HR administrative support to Student Affairs divisions, including recruitment administration, vacation balance reconciliation, employee file maintenance, and processing routine employee changes in the University’s HR system.

Requirements
- One year Community College coupled with a minimum of one year previous related administrative experience.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to manage repetitive, detail-oriented work while maintaining focus and quality.
- Ability to meet recurring payroll deadlines and manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Comfort learning new software systems and adapting to process changes.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with HR, payroll, and departmental staff.
- Basic understanding of payroll, scheduling, or employee time-entry processes would be considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills and familiarization with payroll or other HR software and Microsoft Office Applications.

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
